Perfect for jumpstarting your day, the Green Morning Smoothie is energizing, alkalining and purifying. This smoothie is simple to make, features all fresh ingredients and can easily be modified to be sweeter, lighter or more mellow by changing up the ingredients. This is my current go-to for a delicious, fresh drink on the go. I love making it a little spicy by adding ginger to boost digestion and metabolism.
3 Stalks of Celery
1/3 Organic Lemon including Peel
Handful of Parsley
1/2 – 1-Inch Finger of Ginger
2 Cups of Fresh Coconut Water or Filtered Water
2 Tbsp Plant Based Protein Powder (Jen recommends Epic or SunWarrior)
Place all ingredients in a Vitamix until completely blended, enjoy immediately or save some for later!
